Corran Crawford

About

Following her interest in community music during her BMus studies at the University of Edinburgh, Corran was inspired to further her training and went on to complete an MSc in Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Corran is passionate about working in a person-centred and relational way, using music to support people from all walks of life and create meaningful opportunities for communication, expression and connection.

She has experience working with children, young people and adults with a wide range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, complex medical conditions, neurodivergence, experiences of trauma and mental health needs. Her work has spanned educational, community and NHS settings, allowing her to support individuals across diverse stages of life and circumstances.

At the heart of Corran’s practice is a belief in the power of music to connect, communicate and support others, particularly during times when words can be difficult to find.
